At Novella Joyce Creations, our story is guided by faith, shaped by love, and sustained by purpose. We believe that nothing in our journey has happened by accident—every step has been ordered, every lesson divinely placed, and every victory covered by grace.
This brand was born from the prayers, sacrifices, and unwavering faith of two remarkable women, Novella Turner and Joyce Rush. As single mothers, they trusted God through seasons of struggle and triumph, choosing perseverance when giving up would have been easier. Their lives were testimonies of what happens when faith meets determination.
They raised their children, Shannon and Michael Turner, to believe that with God, all things are possible—and that excellence is an act of obedience. Through their example, they taught us to lead with integrity, to serve with humility, and to trust God even when the path ahead was unclear.
Novella led with strength, grace, and quiet authority—a woman of faith whose presence spoke before her words. Joyce was a beloved light in her community, known for her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart. Together, they were mothers not only to their own children, but to many—covering others in love, wisdom, and prayer.
It was God’s divine timing that brought Shannon and Michael together as husband and wife, uniting two hearts rooted in the same values. As our Chief Operating Officer, Michael brings a unique blend of engineering precision & creativity to every project we undertake. His engineering background allows him to approach every event with a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of your event is flawlessly executed & the logistics are seamless. From custom-built structures to cutting-edge technology, Michael thrives on finding creative solutions to make every event truly stand out. He also has a passion for cooking and a talent for creating diverse and tantalizing menus that cater to a wide range of tastes. Michael manages our talented team of cooks to ensure deliciousness and consistency in every dish.

Executive Designer/Balloonist
As our Executive Designer, LaToya has a keen eye for design, honed through years of experience with Create A Purpose Event planning LLC. She stays on top of the trends and innovation to create out-of-the-box props and balloon designs. She pushes the boundaries of imagination, creating installations that breathe life into venues and transforms spaces into whimsical realms that captivate and enchant. LaToya believes in the power of collaboration and works with every client to create renown statements in design to ensure their guests are WOWed. LaToya elevates events and experiences, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
